The Hampton County Fair is excited that you are participating in the exhibit portion of the Fair. The Hampton County Fair contact person for Exhibits and Competitive Events is Karen Anderson. Due to the volume of entries and the number of people involved, the following schedule for drop off and pick up of entries is strictly followed. We are unable to accommodate early or late pick up and are not responsible for items not picked up on time. Thank you for your understanding and for planning for drop off and pick up accordingly.

 

For All Competitive Exhibits

The  Hampton County FAIR  is hosting several competitions at the Floral Hall. The Floral Hall is free for Guests to enter.  The Competitions have entry fees for each Category. The Child Entry Fee is $1.00, no exceptions. The Adult Entry Fee is $5.00 , no exceptions. FAQs

All Competitive displays will be shown in the Floral Hall Thursday, October 23- Saturday, October 25, 2025
The Floral Hall entry Doors are at the back of the Building, at 103 Railroad Ave. (formerly known as Jerry Tuten's Machine Shop). This Building sits on Hwy 278 between Broad (Exxon) and Hannah. Do not enter from Broad (Exxon). Drive passed the shop. Turn onto Hannah, then turn left on to the dirt road, this is a one way street, you will immediately see the back entrance to the Floral Hall on your left. Once unloaded you can exit onto Broad (Exxon) to circle back to Hannah and Park.

* You Must Bring Your Own Table

*No Food or Drink Permitted inside the Floral Hall

* You are not required to remain at your exhibit at all times. However, all items are left at Contestants Risk.

*You must be present for Winner Announcement at 5pm on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at the Concert Stage.

*Prize is a Blue-Ribbon naming someone the Best in Brunson in that Category. You get bragging rights for the WHOLE YEAR!

*All Contestants will be given a Random Numerical Identifier for the Exhibit. 

*You should not have any personal Identifying Information anywhere in your Exhibit.

*Please adhere to Pick up and Drop Off Times

* By Form Submission All Contestants consent to Town of Brunson use of photos of Self and / or Exhibits

Drop Off Date & Time:   Saturday October 24, 2026    >  11am - 1 pm     
Pick Up Date & Time:    Saturday October 24, 2026    >  6pm
*Please remember to bring your claim ticket to pick up.

 

 Chili Cookoff 

FAQs

 The Chili Cookoff has a Participant Fee of $10.00 , no exceptions and a Guest entry Fee  of  $5.00, no exceptions. To compete in the Chili Cookoff  please use the Registration Form provided at: https://form.jotform.com/252507961207154  or email kanderson [at] brunson.gov (kanderson[at]brunson[dot]gov) 

 

All Competitive Chefs will be on display at the Concert Grounds.


The Chefs should unload supplies at the stage area by entering the dirt road on the side of Exxon and exiting onto Main, this will be one way traffic. All VEHICLES MUST BE REMOVED ONCE UNLOADED. 

* You Must Bring Your Own Table

* You are required to remain at your exhibit at all times. All items are left at Contestants Risk.

*You must be present for Winner Announcement at 5pm on Saturday, October 25, 2025 on the Concert Ground.

*Taste Testers will present to you with a Sample Size bowl and should have a hand stamp as "Paid" to be served.

*Taste Testers will drop a Token in a boot at the Judges Tables.

*Prize is a Blue Ribbon naming someone the Best CHEF in Brunson and a 50/50 of proceeds AND... You get bragging rights for the WHOLE YEAR!

*All Contestants will be given a Random Numerical Identifier for the Exhibit. 

*You should not have any personal Identifying Information anywhere on your Exhibit.

 

*Judging Criteria: Aroma, Texture, Taste/ Flavor, After Taste, Appearance

 

*This competition will adhere to International Chili Society (ICS) Official Rules
